Easiest method to remove Powered by blogger Attribution

"Powered by blogger" is an attribute you will deginately see below any blog created using blogger  with blogger link.
If you want to hide your blog platform identity from your users or it irritates you looking at this Attribution

Then this post is for you

 By the way most of the gadgets can be removed because blogger has made them unlock default.

Even this powered by blogger  gadget is  locked. Locked gadget can not be removed without unlocking them. so, to unlock them you can simply follow these two methods.

The most easiest method

Step 1: Go to blogger dashboard .

Step 2: Now click on Template and Edit html.

Step 3: Just press ctrl+f and find the </head> .

Step 4: paste  the code I'll give below just above </head> .

<style>
#Attribution1 {
display: none;
}
</style>

Step 5: Now Save Template and that's all

Second method

Step 1: Go to dashboard .

Click on layout and now go to the attribution gadget. Then click on edit button then you will see a pop up where there you can edit it but can not find the remove button.

 To find remove button follow the following steps.

Step 2: Now click on template>edit html.

Step 3: There you can see the jump to widget tab. Click it. And then click on attribution 1.

Now make attribution
Lock:true
Turn the true into false as shown in figure.

Now you can find the remove button in attribution gadget.

Step 4: And you just can go to the layout>>attribution gadget>> edit and then click on remove button.

Step 5: Save template.

That's all

I hope this helps... If it works for you (which i'm sure it will)  please don't hesitate to give us your feedback

How to add category and multiple blog posts into a page on blogger

Probloggers in one of the blogging group i belong  on whatsapp asked me

"how can I publish post into different pages other than the default front page?"

 Here I'd like to share the way I'm using, hope you find it helpful.
By default, each time after you publishing a post, it goes to the default home page and display at the top above other posts.

To publish post into different pages, you can combine 3 features that Blogger provides: the tab, the label, and the forwarding page.

The idea is, first create a Label ( category ) by adding the Label name to at least one post, so that you can access that label directly at any time; then set up a Forwarding Page (one type of page that Blogger provides) to point to that Label's web address (URL), so that when people clicking on that page name, it will display all the posts in that Label (category).

Now to the tutorial

1. Page name :

First let's ask a question: what page do you want to publish posts to? we need a page name. For example, if you'd like to publish tutorial to a specific page, we can set up a page called "tutorial ".

2. Label name :

Make sure you already have a Label called  tutorial " or put the label on all the post you want to let appear on the page, if  you don't have, create a new tutorial  post and add "tutorial " label to it. If you don't know how to add label to post... Then Google is your friend (joking), go to your post editor, you’ll see it on the right hand side of it

3. Find out that label's web address (URL).

We need that "tutorial" label's web address (URL). You can find out the URL by click on the label name at the bottom of the post, or at the label widget in your side bar (if you have one), the label web address (URL) will be showing in the address bar in your browser. Copy that URL for future using.

example, at the bottom of this post, I have a label name "page", after click on that, it comes to the "page" page. At the top of my browser, the address bar shows the URL: http://www.waplordcrib.blogspot.com/search/label/page  This is the URL we need in the future.

4. Set up pages as tabs :

After this, you will go to "layout" on your Blogger dashboard, then click on pages, it could be on the has taps showing on your blog topmost page or at the side of your page has a widget

5. Create a new Forwarding Page:

You will see a list of pages you have before and a "add external link"
Click on "add external link" to create a new forwarding page called "tutorial", and point it to that tutorial  label URL we just copied.

6. Once you finish step 5, you will get a new tab at the top of the page called "tutorial", and the "tutorial" tab is associated with your "tutorial" label. That means, visit the tutorial  tab is the same as visit tutorial  label.

7. From now on, whenever you creating a post, remember to add label "tutorial" or any label you want to use  to the post Once published, the post will be showing in the tutorial page (tab). You can verify this by clicking on the tutorial  tab at the top of of your blog.

You Done.

Summary

By finishing the above 7 steps, you can publish posts into a specific page. Please note the post will be showing at the default home page as well.

It's Your Turn

What's your experience of publishing post to different pages? How do you set up pages and categories?
If this works for you please comment on the comment box below to encourage both me and the other readers
Thanks

Add an active forum to your blog

Forum is a platform where visitors can interact with each other and discuss different hot topics. There you can add desired topics for getting comments and diverse suggestions on them. If you have a good traffic, then you can place questions on daily basis for the potential visitors to answer, thus your forum simultaneously converts itself into a huge frequently asked quesions section "FAQ". Forums will provide your visitors an open social atmosphere to express their useful ideas and share other's ideas.

In this brief tutorial, I have explained simple steps to add a forum to your Blogger or blogspot blog. So Co blogger  let's get started!

To implement a forum we will use Nabble, in my opinion, one of the best free options. We go to Nabble page and there, we will create an account (keep in mind that this account will be the moderator of the forum).

And once we have everything set (it also has a wide variety of customizing options), go to Options -> Application ->
Change appearance:

There, we can also edit the CSS of the forum and other things...
Now we have to give the structure of a real forum, i.e. organizing it by categories. To do this click on the
Options menu, select Application , then click Change application type :

Then choose the Forum category and save your changes.

To finish, we only have to create categories and for this go back to
Options , this time select Structure and then choose Create a new sub-forum :

Fill in the details of the category and that's it, you will have your forum running.
The rest are small details, like sort categories (Options > Structure > Manage sub-forums), customize your avatar and your signature (YourNickname > Account Settings), change permissions (Options > Users > Permissions), etc.

Now for integrating the newly created forum to your blog, you must go to
Options - Embedding options and copy the javascript code

Embed the forum in a Blogger page

Login to your Blogger Dashboard , select your blog, click the Pages link on the left sidebar and create a new Blank Page
Once there, get in the HTML mode.

Paste inside the empty box the code that we copied earlier, and if everything went well, we should see our brand new forum for our blog!

I hope this tutorial was helpful to you and you will begin using this great service.

Our next post will be on how to add a active-media like chatbox on your blog where you can chat With anyone who visit your blog even visitor to visitor accesses
